On my Social Media channels this month I’ve created the theme “Motivated March”. I’ve needed to be motivated as I’ve been extremely busy. No, let’s use the word productive! I’m training myself to say “I am productive”, rather than “I am so busy”.
International Women’s Day (IWD) was celebrated on 8th March, and the theme this year was #pressforprogress! I love that theme because it has application for women collectively and individually. When one person progresses it positively impacts upon others and improving your personal performance is very motivating.
I had the privilege of speaking at three IWD functions and then facilitated a session at the Professional Speakers Australia National Conference. The session was called Bravehearts and involved seven brave professional female speakers sharing their personal stories of bravery.
It was an extraordinary time of vulnerability and trust and it set the atmosphere for a remarkable conference.
I then went to Vietnamto speak at an incentive/reward event to the highest achievers in an international company. It was a joy to celebrate their achievements as well as equip and encourage them for future success.
This has been an extraordinary month for me and I am the one who has benefited the most. Helping others to look beyond their current circumstances and embrace a brighter future is very rewarding. Helping others is very motivating, so I’m planning to keep the motivation rolling into April.
My short videothis month will provide some simple steps that help improve your personal performance. I hope it provides that little bit of motivation that you might need after the Easter break!
