Destination Dubai

I have recently returned from Dubai where I was speaking for Essilor. They are the largest manufacturers of glass lenses in the world.

They put on a spectacular conference for optometrists from around the world. The city and the venue were mind boggling.

The foyer of the hotel was breathtaking, but so was the view from the pool. Dubai is known for its extraordinary hotels and shopping centres.

Our hotel had an aquarium and a water park as part of its facilities.

We would exit the elevators to be astounded by hundreds of large exotic fish parading before us in the three storey 'fish tank'. Some places are unforgettable![!]
